两艘大型渔船漂浮在一望无际的大海上，渔船的主人是一位年过花甲的老人。老人以这两艘船来谋生，一艘租给人们钓鱼，另一艘则用来到陆地接钓鱼的客人。这位老人和一名妙龄女子住在船上，这个女子是10年前老人在街上遇到的，由于当时女孩儿无家可归，老人就把女孩儿带到船上一起生活。 可随着女孩儿的长大，女孩儿变得成熟动人，老人逐渐对女孩儿产生了感情。可是来钓鱼的男人们经常以淫荡的眼光偷看女孩，老人为保护心爱的女孩不得不做出行动，所以就在船上射箭来警醒这些蠢蠢欲动的男人。 一天，和爸爸一起来钓鱼的大学生在船上看到这迷人的少女后被这神秘的少女所迷住。老人觉得事情不妙，每天提心吊胆地监视少女，并不允许少女靠近大学生。可是从7岁起就和外界隔离，并仅在船上生活长大的少女也逐渐对外面的世界产生了好奇心。大学生得知女孩儿到了18岁生日那天将要和老人结婚的消息，就决定要让女孩儿了解外面世界，所以有一天晚上帮少女逃到陆地……
