平成元年生まれのみずほ（石橋菜津美）は生きる目標もなく、ただ何となく日々を過ごすアラサー女子。地元の同級生・柚木（土村芳）と美佐江（瀧内公美）と一緒に一つ屋根の下で暮らしている。いつもの朝のいつもの朝食、テレビでは近所の山中の施設が炎上したというニュースが流れるが、たわいのない会話に夢中の３人。その頃、町ではゾンビのようなものが発生し、住人を襲い始めていた。壊れていく日常、その異変に気づかないみずほは、別居中の夫・小池（大東駿介）と離婚の話し合いをするためファミレスへ向かうが、途中で買い物に寄ったコンビニでゾンビに襲撃されてしまう。やがてみずほたちの町は、外部から封鎖され無政府状態となる。人々は食料物資のあるコンビニを目指し集まってくる。美佐江と小池が一緒にコンビニへ逃げ込んで来て、みずほは夫の不倫相手が美佐江だったと気づく。混乱の時間が続く中、彼女たちはスマホでネットにアップされているおかしな動画群に気づく。そこには「ゾンビに〇〇をやってみた」という悪ふざけのようなタイトルが延々とならんでいた。絶望して生きることを諦める者ばかりでは無く、このユーチューバーのようにチャンスとして人生を一発逆転させようとする者たちも現れ、人々の欲望がいびつな形で噴出しようとしていた。そして、自分は生きることに執着していないと思っていたみずほは、自らが生きる意味に気づいていくことになる…。
