本片主要讲述了男女主人公刻骨铭心的情感经历，青梅竹马的江来和依然从小就在一起玩，而就在两个人即将修成正果之时，菁菁却要横刀夺爱，江来没有在势力面前低头，但是却无法面对母亲去世的事实，离家出走。 最终无论如何都无法舍弃对依然的爱，离开的第701天回来和依然相认，最终完美结局。
