《为了新中国前进》是一部将在2010年上映的有王宝强主演的战争系列电视连续剧，全剧总共25集，讲述了刚参加正规军队的民兵战士董存瑞在经历了一系列的苦难磨砺后，终于以代理班长的身份四处拼凑组建了以孙大光、刘玉林、郅振彪、朱三亮、牛玉合、邹二狗为核心的六班的故事。
