Secondly, the attacker will no longer send the third acknowledgement packet, thus the server will make multiple retransmissions (the Linux system configures the number of retransmissions through tcp_synack_retries), consuming a lot of extra overhead, and the waiting queue will be occupied, even the waiting queue will be full, eventually causing the server to be unable to receive the client's request. This is the attack.
