《盛装》以时尚杂志社为背景，讲述杂志《盛装》在转型之时意外面临主编空缺时的一系列故事。有着深厚行业背景的副主编陈开怡（宋佳饰）踌躇满志，志在捍卫内容价值。集团却任命了肖红雪（袁咏仪饰）为新主编，她认为内容和商业同样重要，俩人的方向有着本质区别。肖红雪主张的杂志新方向让广告总监鲁斌斌（陈赫饰）得以大展拳脚，但注重内容独立的专题组却必然受到打压。重重矛盾下，《盛装》的风暴一触即发。
