《四川好人》的名字借鉴于德国著名剧作家布莱希特的同名剧作。这里的所谓“好人”并非传统意义上的“好人”，而凡是当代生活中的“好人、好事”；“奇人、奇事”、“新人、新事”均可纳入本剧视野。《四川好人》的故事发生在成都的一个特殊社区，由于历史遗留原因，这里一边是时尚高档的商品住宅小区，一边是过去老国营工厂的宿舍楼区，而负责管理商品楼的好人物业公司和老社区的职工活动中心更是共处一室。如此奇特的格局，给以经理卜安逸、职员柯不平、惠惠、乐乐为一方的好人物业公司，与职工活动中心主任方脑壳、棋牌室员工胖妹、大师的另一方的常规战争在所难免，再加上开餐馆的朱头肉、闷墩儿师徒和形形色色的业主们穿插其中，于是乎，一幕幕真人版的“猫”和“老鼠”的故事便陆续精彩上演
