本剧讲述了裴斗娜饰演的夜总会歌女的奋斗和爱情故事。30岁的“熟女”珍珍一直和因为意外引致智商如同5岁小孩的姐姐珍珠共同生活，但她还在为了姐妹俩的生活而挣扎打拼。每一天都在打工中辛苦渡过。有一天，由于夜总会里的歌手没有准时到场表演，等得心焦的客户们开始骚动并发出不满之声。珍珍是一个从上学起就从来不唱歌，曾经因为紧闭着嘴气坏了班主任的女生；但为了救场，她站在了舞台中央。最初站在台上，珍珍紧张得无所适从、只能在那里对着口形小声低唱。正当台下观众不满时，珍珍鼓起勇气做出了让人始料不及的华丽“转变”。只见她用不屈的声音爆发出让人感动的歌声……
