《极品家丁》电视剧改编自网络人气小说《极品家丁》，讲述了林三因意外被迫以低级家丁身份进入萧府大宅，遭逢无数奇遇，帮助萧府在商场、官场翻云覆雨，齐家治国平天下，成为“天下第一丁”的故事。剧中林三是一个智计百出、心胸广阔又重情重义的人，也是一个游戏人间、天马行空的小人物。一次意外让劫后余生的林三来到了金陵城，为报魏老救命之恩，他委身萧家当家丁，不但卷入一场危机，也和萧家小姐萧玉若开启了一段缘分。
该剧根据古龙等人原着编剧，讲述来自扶桑的中原少女西门无恨(杨钧钧 饰），为追寻自己的身世之谜，假扮当年武林高手楚留香盗宝，终于引了两年前绝迹江湖的楚留香（刘德凯 饰），证实无恨确为楚的亲生女儿；二十年前，楚留香给江南金家拜寿，巧遇少女张洁洁，两人由恨生爱，私定终生。原来洁洁系麻女圣教的圣女，为了不愿下嫁魔火宫的少宫主，才有母亲安排，与楚结识、相爱。魔火宫的少宫主为夺回张洁洁和麻衣圣教，布下罗网，加害楚、张二人。张洁洁生下女儿无恨后自尽，西门不弱（林威饰）带着婴儿无恨逃到扶桑，投靠无恨的外公。无恨长大后练成麻衣圣教的护教神功乾坤挪移打法。
